General Description
WHAT IS OSTEOTHAI?
Osteothai is the integration of osteopathic principles and techniques into Thai massage, a bridge between East and West.
It’s a form of bodywork that combines extraordinary creative and powerful Thai massage techniques with the precise and gentle touch of Osteopathy.
Osteothai is practiced on the floor; the patient wears light comfortable clothing.
The therapist uses not only their hands but also their feet, knees and elbows.
This makes for a rich and colourful approach.
Osteothai combines:
👉Traditional Thai massage’s varied and powerful stretches, using long leverage techniques across myofascial chains (inspired by yoga postures); and its acupressure work on energy lines and the creativity of dynamic movements of traditional Thai massage
👉 Osteopathy’s release of tissue tension and work on restriction of mobility.
👉Osteothai has been created by David Lutt and Arno L’hermitte, two French osteopaths in love with Thai massage. Each of them has then developed the concept according to their views and inspirations, allowing Osteothai to be a living and constant evolution
ABOUT THIS MODULE: OSTEOTHAI PRINCIPLES AND GENERAL OVERVIEW
This dense and colourful course brings us into the Universe of Osteothai.
We learn the Osteopathic Principles on which all the techniques used in Osteothai are based.
The students get a general overview of the different topics covered in our training:
- articular peripheral system (ankle, knee, hip)
- treatment of the spine (lower back pain, approach of the cervical region)
- visceral system and its relations to the pelvic ball
- setting free the breathing process
- approaching the craniosacral system
- precise and powerful techniques will be taught to adapt your treatments to the needs of your Western patients
During this 5-day course, we focus on:

ABOUT BOJAN
Bojan is a certified Thai massage therapist who combines his love for healing arts and creative expression through various forms of working with the body.
His Thai massage journey started with Taoistic practices and meditations, which led him to a deeper connection to the healing capacities of the body and resulted in his certification by his teacher Sanne Burger as an Ancient Thai Massage Therapist in 2009.
Since then he has been traveling the world learning with different teachers about the art of touch.
In the last years he has been intensively studying and assisting with Krishnataki and David Lutt.
Successfully completed the 18 month training of Master Osteothai with the osteopaths David Lutt and Jörg Schürpf. With the blessings of his teachers, Bojan is wholeheartedly teaching various modules of Thai massage and Osteothai around the world.

CERTIFICATION:
Participants will receive a certificate from the Lulyani School of Thai massage & Osteothai.
PREREQUISITES:
This is an advanced course.
A basic training in Thai massage or floor related bodywork practices (shiatsu, yumeiho, etc.) and a minimum of 6 months of practice is required.

Your registration is binding and serves as a contract. It becomes effective upon receipt of the confirmation of order.
