Osteothai for the Breathing Process
General Description
Osteothai for the Breathing Process
Expansion & Retraction Motion for Better Homeostasis
Join us for a transformative 5-day journey into the heart of Osteothai — where the art of touch meets the science of breath.
Breathing is life. When breath flows freely, energy moves, blood circulates, and balance is restored. In this workshop, we dive deep into the mechanics and subtle rhythms of the breathing process, reconnecting with the body’s natural intelligence and self-regulating potential.
Through a blend of osteopathic precision and Thai massage fluidity, we will explore how to support and release the breath across physical, emotional, and energetic dimensions.
What we’ll focus on:
– The rib cage: restoring its vitality and mobility
– Lungs & heart: working with the "three cylinders" of breath and circulation
– The diaphragms: our horizontal axis of stability and flow
– The shoulder complex: freeing structural and emotional tension
– Primary Respiratory Movement: subtle rhythms behind the craniosacral system
You’ll learn dynamic and static techniques to support the expansion and retraction motion essential for health, while also addressing visceral and emotional blockages held in the breath.
This workshop is for experienced Thai massage and bodywork practitioners who wish to deepen their understanding of Osteothai principles, and bring a more refined, integrative touch to their practice.
- 5 days of study, practice, and presence.
