Osteothai for the Main Joints
General Description
The joint system is often forgotten in Thai massage. We work around the joint, mainly its tendinous system, but unfortunately, we don’t treat the joint itself.
Osteopathy helps to release the energy blocked in the joints. Thus the energy released will allow the patient’s body to gain vitality and to use it for a faster recovery.
The course allows the student to develop a more precise touch and a better understanding of joint biomechanics. We explore each joint of the lower and upper limbs. Movement and mobility, the real obsession of osteopaths, will be back, together with rhythm, coordination and joint integrity.
This class will give you precise techniques and useful tools to treat and free joints including ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, wrist and/or elbow.
During this 5-day course, we will focus on :
– RESTORING JOINT MOBILITY
– THE PRINCIPLES OF ARTICULAR GENERAL TREATMENT
– ACTIVE VS. PASSIVE APPROACHES
– AXIS – PERIPHERY INTEGRATION
